Communicants Class
Communicants Class begins February 26th. This is a class for children and youth who are considering professing faith in Christ. The class meets for 8 weeks at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. There are applications located around the sanctuary. Please call the church office to register.
Wednesdays for Women
Please join us on February 29 for a special time of extended fellowship as well as the opportunity to hear a testimony from one of our own ladies. We will meet at 9:30 a.m. in the parlor. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet other women, especially of different ages, as well as an outreach opportunity. If you need childcare for Pre-K children, please contact Mary Lou (marylou@pearorchard.org; 601-206-9147) prior to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 27th.
Primetime Choir Ensemble
Our 9th – 12th Grade Choir Ensemble will meet on Sunday nights during the month of February at 5:15 in the choir room. We start Sunday, February 5. All high school students are encouraged to join us as we prepare to lead in worship at the end of the month.
Sons of the King Banquet
Sons of the King is a ministry of Trinity Presbyterian Church to a small number of at risk children attending McLeod Elementary School. SOK provides after-school and summer vacation tutoring, Biblical instruction and arts and physical education training.

Wednesday Night Ministry
Wednesday night dinners and elective classes have begun. Dinner will be served in the cafeteria from 5:30 – 6:15 p.m. followed by several electives: Financial Peace by Dave Ramsey (fee of $93 per couple), David Tigrett (Beatitudes), Tammie Haynes (I Corinthians), ESL, Sanctuary and Concert choir rehearsal, Inquirers Class, and youth activities. Easter Concert Choir
Rehearsals for the Easter Concert begin Wednesday, Feb. 1 from 6:30 – 7:30 in the Choir Room #138. The Congregation is invited to join our Sanctuary Choir for the months of February and March as we prepare for the Maundy Thursday and Easter Sunday services.
A Concert of Praise
On February 5th our evening service will include an extended time of worship through music led by our organist, Susie Cook. With a theme of “Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing”, organ and congregational selections will portray the outpouring of the Holy Spirit as a still, quiet voice and as magnificent and mighty tongues of fire expressing worship in the heart and the hope of that GREAT DAY.
Inquirers Class
The POPC Inquirers Class begins Wednesday, February 1st from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Pastor Carl will teach a nine-week class for all those who have visited POPC and are interested in learning more, growing in their love of Christ and considering membership in this church. We will meet in Room 238. Please call the church office if you plan to attend and if you will have childcare needs.
Women’s Ministries New Bible Studies
Women’s Ministries will offer two new bible studies beginning Feb. 1st: (1) “Your Walk with God is a Community Project” – Frances Wilson & Margaret Sprow will teach a 10-week video series by Paul Tripp, which is accompanied by the book Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands. It will meet every Wednesday in the parlor from 9:30-11:00 a.m. (2) “1 Corinthians” – Tammie Haynes will lead this study in Room 230 of the Education Building from 6:30-7:30 p.m. We will examine how to live in the world without becoming part of it. Please contact the church office if you need childcare for Pre-K children for either of these studies.
