The international ministry of Pear Orchard Presbyterian church seeks to serve God by carrying forth the Great Commission in reaching and teaching aliens in the Jackson area. We offer weekly services and Sunday School in Spanish providing a possibility for Spanish speaking people to receive the preaching of God’s word, sing, pray and confess their faith in their mother tongue.

Another way in which we serve the foreign community is by teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) on Wednesdays nights.

The ministry has served hundreds of people from many nationalities over the years. We are always in need of volunteers who want to serve God through this work of missions to the people God brought to our nation.

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
