Operation Christmas Child is coming November 17-24, 2014! Last year over 36,000 shoeboxes came through Pear Orchard as part of the over 10 million boxes distributed globally. Operation Christmas Child partners with churches worldwide to share the good news of Jesus to hurting children through these simple gifts. To volunteer, please contact Mary Elizabeth Upton (601-209-9142) or Jenny Murphy (601-906-9776) or email email@example.com.
Make Note! THIS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16, IS OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SUNDAY in our children’s Sunday School classes. Parents, please send items to pack a shoebox to Sunday School with your two year old – 6th grade children.
We will have a congregational meeting on November 23rd after the late service, at which members will be asked to approve moving forward with the Sanctuary Renovation Project and office space. This project has been presented both in a letter mailed to members and in the presentation made Sunday evening, October 26. If you missed the presentation, please contact Chairman Bob Austin (601-540-0826; firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions or would like to have a member of the Renovation team go through it with you.
